薰習

Fumigation, influence, "perfuming"; defiling, the inter-perfuming of (sa) bhūtatathatā, v. [lang id =1028]真如, of ignorance ((sa) avidyā), of the empirical mind, and of the empirical world.

吾人身口所作的善惡業， 或是意所作的善惡思想， 其氣分都留在真如或阿賴耶識裡， 叫做種子或習氣， 這種種子或習氣在真如或阿賴耶識中存留其作用， 即叫做薰習。 起信論說： 「薰習義者， 如世間衣服實無於香， 若人以香而薰習故， 則有香氣。」
